Shocking: Man Crushed To Death By Truck In Ibadan, After 24 Hours Of His Arrival In Nigeria

An unidentifiable man, about 60-year-old has been reportedly crushed to death by a truck at the second gate of Gbagi market in Ibadan on Monday, 12th of November, 2018.

It was gathered that, he and his wife just arrived Nigeria from London last Sunday and they came together to the market for the shopping.

Sadly, she returned only to meet her husband's headless body lying on the ground.
According to an eyewitness who spoke with ADITU, identified as Kafayatu Agboola, the victim came to the market to buy some clothes ahead of his child's wedding when he met his untimely death.
She further stressed that, the returnee was hit by an incoming motorcycle as he was trying cross the expressway, in attempt to return to his car parked at the other side of the road after he urinated.

Subsequently, he was crushed by an incoming truck before he could regain his stand, and he died instantly.

As a result, both the truck driver and motorcyclist absconded, along with their motor.
She added that, the locale is vulnerable to such incident, in which she had once been a victim but she narrowly escaped the predicament.

She pleaded unto the Oyo State Government to provide a lasting solution to this menace in order to prevent such occurence next time.

Information has it that, the corpse has been taken to the victim's residence at Muslim, Ibadan.
