Adelabu's Compound, Ibadan. The game of politics in Oyo State is gradually becoming hot everyday as electoral crisis turns inevitable, thus, political parties and individuals are battling for power. The political drama of Monday, 24th of December, 2018 and Tuesday, 25th of December, 2018 caused pandemonium at Ile-tuntun/Adelabu Compound, Oke-Odo in the city of Ibadan. According to information at our disposal one person was said dead in the clash. Campaign poster of Adelabu, APC gubernatorial candidate was set to be pasted by the campaign team at the candidate's compound while the members of the compound vehemently opposed the motion by laying claims on supporting the opposition party, asserting that Adelabu's compound is only supporting Engr. Pathetic: Truck Cruches One To Death, Injures Two In Two Days To Xmas + Photos

Just in two days to Christmas Day, it was reported that a truck has crushed a middle-aged woman to death and injured two men in Apata, Ibadan at early hours of Sunday, 23rd of December, 2018. It was gathered that, the ghastly incident involved a truck without a plate and a motorcycle. According to an eyewitness who spoke with #ADITU, Mr Gbenga, as a result of the truck's brake that failed, the truck hit a motorcycle when it got to the pump at Apata Police Post. Consequently, it killed a woman and injured two men who were riding on the motorcycle. In the truck driver's attempt to stop the truck, he proceeded to Odo-Ona but he met a traffic jam there, and he therefore reversed the truck to hit a cabster truck, parked by the roadside before it eventually crashed at Olugbode area of Apata. Pathetic: Truck Kills Five In Ibadan + Photos

Not fewer than five persons has been reportedly dead in a motor accident at trailer park in Akinyele Local Government, Ibadan last Monday. The ghastly incident was reportedly involved by a truck and a micra taxi with the registration number - PMD/208/XA. According to eye witness account, Mr Tirimisiliyu Wahab, the truck was approaching Akinyele from Arewa along with the taxi. The taxi was before the truck. The incident ensued when the taxi slowed to pass over a pump on the highway and unfortunately, before it could bypass the pump, the truck had trampled it. Information has it that, the truck was suspected to had had a brake failure and it driver absconded the scene after the incident had happened in a twinkle of an eye. According to a reliable source, the victims are butchers who went to Amusun to buy meat and going to Ojo market to sell their meat. Tumult in Olodo, Ibadan as a SS3 student of Olodo Grammar School, identified as Abass Gbadegeshin was reportedly shot dead by suspected Policemen in a Students/Teachers clash on Thursday, 29th of November, 2018. According to a student of the school who spoke with ADITU, the ghastly incident ensued last Thursday when some students of the school were drove off their classes for an outstanding payment of N3,200 (Three thousand and two hundred naira) as Ajimobi developmental levy after paying a sum of N500 (Five hundred naira) as examination fee. But, the students refused to leave the school vicinity and complaint that their teachers should not have collected the examination fee from them when they knew that students would be disallowed to write the examination without paying the Ajimobi developmental levy. Collateral Damage: Suspected Gangsters Vandalises Properties Worth Millions Of Naira In Ibadan

Properties worth millions of naira has been reportedly vandalised in Ita-Ege, Ibadan by a suspected gang noted as Agbija boys from Omiyale on Wednesday, 14th of November, 2018. Information has it that, the Ita-Ege boys had earlier had a clash with the Agbija boys in a party held at Omiyale last Sunday, thus, the Wednesday's incident was alleged a reprisal attack from the Agbija boys. According to eyewitness account, Felicia Ahmed, the Agbija boys were moving in mass to Idi-Aro around 8pm, singing all sorts of morale songs with fierce weapons in their hands. Though, no live was lost. According to a resident who spoke with ADITU, Ridwan Adedokun, the Agbija boys had earlier warned the residents to stay indoor before 6pm on Tuesday, 13th of November, 2018.
