Shocking: 10-Year-Old Boy Reportedly Drowned In Ibadan

A 10-year-boy identified as Yusuf has been reportedly drowned in Dandaru river beside Agodi Garden along Mokola-Secretariat road, Ibadan on Wednesday, 24th of October, 2018.
According to Source, the boy was said to had mounted a precipice for a dive when he mistakenly slide off and drowned in the river.
Also, another source confirmed that, the boy was deaf and he had been abandoned by his parents long time ago.

He further stressed that, children and other vagrants sleeping under the Mokola overhead bridge are the ones who often visit the river for a swim for a token of N50.

However, foods and illegal commodities are sold there for swimmers.
He also urged the Oyo State Government to take necessary steps to curb the reoccurence the incident.
